KWY Chat Summary — Privacy Policy

KWY Chat Summary is an internal tool used by the customer service staff of KWY
Furniture. It is not a consumer product. It does nothing at all for anyone who is
not on the company's staff list.

WHAT WE COLLECT ABOUT THE PERSON USING IT
Nothing beyond the work Google email address they sign in with. There is no
analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifier, and no tracking of any kind.

WHAT LEAVES THE COMPUTER
Only two things, and only to a server operated by KWY Furniture:
1. The phone number of the customer whose chat is open, in order to look up that
   customer's past orders. When no number has been given yet, the customer's name
   is sent instead.
2. A Google access token, issued by Chrome when the staff member signs in. The
   server uses it only to confirm the staff member's email address and check it
   against the staff list. It is not stored on the server.

The conversation itself is never sent anywhere. The message text is read on the
screen, used to draw the summary card, and discarded when the page closes. It is
not uploaded, not logged, and not saved to disk.

WHAT COMES BACK
The past orders and repair records of the one customer that was asked about,
typically a few hundred bytes. Also the company's own price list, delivery fees,
delivery calendar and advertisement list, none of which contain personal
information. No customer list is stored on the device.

SIGN-IN
Signing in uses Chrome's own identity feature and requests two things only:
openid and email. The extension has no access to the staff member's Gmail, Drive,
Calendar, contacts or any other Google data, and never asks for it. The email
address is used only to check the staff list. Signing out from the extension's
setup page ends this.

WHOSE DATA THIS IS
The customer records the card displays are KWY Furniture's own business records —
its customers' names, contact numbers, delivery addresses and past purchases.
They are shown only to staff on the list. They are not sold, not shared with any
third party, and not used for advertising.

PERMISSIONS
storage — keeps the company price list, delivery fees, delivery calendar and
advertisement list in this browser. No customer data is stored.
identity — confirms the staff member's Google email so the server can check the
staff list. Requests openid and email only.
business.facebook.com — the extension runs only on this one site, and the card is
shown only while an inbox conversation is open.
KWY lookup server — an optional permission the staff member grants on the setup
page, used to ask about one customer at a time.

REMOTE CODE
The extension uses no remote code. All code it runs is contained in the package
published to the Chrome Web Store.

THIRD PARTIES
No data is sold, rented, or transferred to any third party, for any purpose.

CHILDREN
This is a workplace tool for company employees and is not directed to children.
